Una niña muere y 8 heridos
en un accidente de tránsito

Una niña murió y otras ocho personas resultaron heridas, entre ellas una de gravedad, cuando un minibús del transporte público fue embestido por un carro privado, en la avenida Luperón, de esta ciudad. La menor muerta fue identificada como Katerine Amador, de 7 años, quien falleció en el lugar del accidente.
La menor sufrió golpes y heridas en la cabeza y otras partes del cuerpo.
En el accidente resultó gravemente herida su madre, Altagracia Elizabeth Amador, de 20 años, quien anoche permanecía en la unidad de cuidados intensivos del hospital Marcelino Vélez Santana, de Herrera.
