MURIO DOÑA ASELA MERA DE JORGE EX PRMERA DAMA DE LA REPUBLICA
Murió la madrugada de este jueves, a la 1.15 a.m. esposa del ex presidente, doctor Salvador Jorge Blanco, y madre del secretario general del Partido Revolucionario Dominicano (PRD), Asela Mera de Jorge, en un centro médico del Distrito Nacional. Jorge Mera explicó que su progenitora murió a causa de un coma diabético tras ser llevada de urgencia a la clínica donde expiró.
